Santa Signatures with Cricut – Crafting in the Rain

The Cricut Minute #32 Since fewer people write hand written notes, and lots of kids don’t know how to read cursive, it’s a little easier to write “From Santa” and not have your kids recognize it.

But, if you want to make sure, or create a tag that looks hand-signed and not just printed, use your Cricut!

There is a set of Cricut calligraphy pens that I used to draw this card, and it looks more real because of the varying widths of the letters.

Search for “calligraphy” and you’ll find you have the option for Black or Gold pens.

You could also use this trick for notes form your Elf! Pens come in colors, gels and glitters, so pick a few fun ones, then choose a writing font in Design Space.

Filter by style “writing” as those are the ones that will truly write with a single line instead of outlining each letter.

Today’s Tip: Calligraphy Santa Signatures

  • Use a calligraphy Cricut pen
  • Match the arrows when installing into the pen clamp
  • Choose a “writing” font in Design Space. Something cursive looks best with the calligraphy pen
  • BONUS: Make Elf on the Shelf signatures with your Cricut too!
