Hello friends. I hope you’ve been well. I’m in love with this painted pumpkin flower arrangement. I’m sure you’ve seen these before but I love the idea of painting the pumpkin to coordinate with the flowers or your decor.
These Dhalias are so gorgeous and the entire bouquet is made from grocery store flowers.
I started by hollowing out the pumpkin. TIP: spread petroleum jelly all over the flesh to slow down the rotting process. Save the cut out top and stem.
I then painted the outside with black paint and some strokes of pink and purple.
Paint the top and stem and allow to dry
Place some clear plastic inside pumpkin.
And place wet oasis inside
Cut excess plastic
Arrange flowers as desired.
Place top of the pumpkin by using skewers. You can see a video HERE.
