DIY Metal Tabletop Christmas Tree

Hello friends. I hope you’re well. This little DIY Metal Tabletop Tree looks so pretty in person but doesn’t really translate well in photographs.
I had done a similar craft several years ago. You can see it HERE. But this time I decided to make it out of tin.

I used a Dollar Store tree as my base.

I took a foil baking sheet and spray painted it gold.

In then cut several leaves. I then flipped it to the unpainted side and drew a line in the middle with a regular pen.

When you flip it over, the line is embossed onto the leaf.

I cut several.

And glued them with hot glue starting at the bottom…

I then continued all the way up, making sure the leaves were staggered as I went along.

And that’s it. Like I said before, It looks way better in person.

You can make different heights and place them in a little vignette to display.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Make sure to check out the other table top trees from my friends below.

Much love,

Lucy
