Skills Required: None. Even if you’ve never Mod Podged before, these Christmas candle holders are very easy to make. You’ll be mixing glitter and epsom salt and sprinkling it on glass votives.

All you need to decorate candle holders is a few supplies, some time and a lot of patience (to wait for it to dry). If you want to Mod Podge on glass, this is a great project to get you started. Well what are you waiting for – read on to find out how easy they are to make!

Glitter Mod Podge Candle Holders

Learn how to make DIY votives with glitter the easy way – no previous crafting skills required. Perfect for any celebration!

Prep Time15 minutes

Step 2:  Alternatively, you can use german glass glitter, or different sized glitters. For me, I had epsom salt and the gold glitter on hand so I went with that. I used epsom salt combined with fine glitter to give the votives some texture, which I love! Step 5: Be careful not to get your brush too close to the glitter when you’re applying additional glitter. You can pick it up on the Mod Podge on your brush. Sometimes it works best to work an area at a time and let dry in between. Optional to finish: Let dry completely. Brush another layer of Mod Podge on top to seal them and prevent the glitter from falling off. Since I was making two dozen, I skipped this step to save time. However, it does help the glitter from falling off later.
