We love capturing the magic of the season in our crafts. Which is why we’re so excited to share our newest project: these adorable Cardstock Mushroom Treat Boxes! These delightful little boxes are the perfect way to share seasonal treats with friends and family. Fill them with miniature pumpkins, or perhaps those delectable spiced nuts that always appear this time of year!

Put a cap on it

An ideal project for beginners, these Cardstock Mushroom Treat Boxes are a fantastic way to enjoy some quiet, creative time. We recommend a cutting machine for these little mushrooms, but no worries if you prefer to cut them by hand. A sharp cutting knife, a cutting mat, and a scoring tool will do the trick.Though they are adorable, these Cardstock Mushroom Treat Boxes are more than just a pretty package. This project is a wonderful way to bring a touch of magic to your autumn celebrations. We hand-colored our mushroom caps with white pencil, giving them a natural, earthy texture. And lastly, for a bit more whimsy, we added the delicate touch of papercut butterflies dancing around the mushroom tops. After all, It’s the little details that make crafting so special. If you want to start with our template, but make some bold artistic changes to your mushroom — we love that! While we used a sunny yellow and orange color scheme to create the caps of our mushrooms, the possibilities are endless! Think of the deep reds and browns of turning leaves, or even the inky blues and purples of certain mushroom varieties. Let your creativity (and nature) be your guide!Once you’ve created your mushroom masterpieces, fill them up with your favorite fall treats, attach the included oak leaf tag with twine, and get ready to spread some autumnal cheer! These sweet treat boxes would be perfect as place settings, or for handing out at parties, school events, or even as a special surprise for a neighbor.

We’d love to see how you decorate your Cardstock Mushroom Treat Boxes! Share your creations using the hashtag #MadeWithLia on social media or in our crafters’ community. We can’t wait to see the harvest of festive fungi you bring to life!
