In most cases, the popcorn can be left in the bowl to snack on, but kettle corn makes the bowl sticky.

I pour the popcorn into another large bowl and sprinkle it with table salt to taste.

This machine provides the movie theater taste you love with its unique stir rod technology!

That stir rod keeps the kernels moving, so there’s no burning, and the cover melts butter as it pops.

The Stir Crazy popcorn maker makes cleanup easy.

Twist off the center to remove the rod, wipe down the stick-free surface, and pop the bowl onto the top rack of the dishwasher.

Whip up the ultimate sweet and salty treat with this easy kettle corn recipe. Made in a Stir Crazy, it’s the crunchy snack dreams are made of!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Oil
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Popcorn Kernels

Instructions

  • Plug in the Stir Crazy Popcorn Maker, but do not turn it on.

  • Add the sugar and oil and stir to combine. I used a spoon, but you could also use a spatula.

  • Once the sugar mixture is well combined, turn on the popcorn maker.

  • Add the unpopped kernels, and place the bowl on top. I recommend leaving the lid on the bowl. Once the popcorn starts popping, hot sugar can shoot out of the holes, making a mess or burning someone nearby.

  • After the popcorn starts popping, it is done when the popping kernels aren’t heard for three seconds.

  • Turn the popcorn machine off. Grabbing the handles, turn it over, and give it a light shake.

  • Carefully lift the machine off the bowl and set it aside.

  • In most cases, the popcorn can be left in the bowl to snack on, but kettle corn makes the bowl sticky. So pour the popcorn into another large bowl and sprinkle it with table salt to taste.

Our Baking Essential List

  • We use Glass Baking Dishes for baking casseroles. I especially like the dishes with lids because leftovers can be transferred straight to the fridge.
  • Silicone Kitchenware is my favorite because they don’t scratch my cookware and is easy to clean!
  • A Glass Cutting Board is a must to prepare all of those ingredients. We even keep ours on our counter at all times.
  • This Knife Set will also become your favorite! The knives cut beautifully, and the hollow design prevents food from sticking to the blade.
